  1. The Tuskegee Airmen and the Navajo Code Talkers both faced challenges during WWII. Some challenges that both groups had were that there was racist behavior towards them, that they were put in really dangerous situations, and that they were not always awarded for their work. Some differences in their challenges were that the Tuskegee Airmen were segregated from the other airmen and people questioned their work. The Navaho Code Talkers were really appreciated for their work, but they were not allowed to talk about it even to their families. Another challenge that the Navaho Code Talkers had was that they were deliberately targeted by the enemy. Both groups helped the U.S. a lot in WW II.

  2. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first Black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps who faced many racial injustices. For example there was a belief that Black people could not learn to fly or operate sophisticated aircraft. The Navajo Code Talkers established an unbreakable code used by the U.S that helped lead to victories.

  3. Both the Tuskegee Airmen and the Navajo Code Talkers faced problems during WW2. The Tuskegee Airmen was an all black pilot group. They had to deal with discrimination on many different levels. Many people were vary racist to them for believing that they wouldn't be able to learn how to fly. They also had to stay segregated from the other pilots. The Navajo Code talkers were awarded and honored for there help in the war. There code was not broken through out the whole war. But they did have to know both English and Navajo and had to go through all the training of a solider.

  4. During WWII the Tuskeggee airmen and Navajo Code talkers were very important in the fight against the Japanese,Italians, and the Germans. Both groups worked hard to defeat the enemy and win the war. Though after the war they both didn't receive much applause for their efforts. The Tuskegee airmen still received harsh prejudices against them and distrimination. The Navajo code talkers didn't get a parade or any celebration for their efforts.

  5. The Tuskeggee airmen were a group of all black pilots who struggled in WW2. These airmen struggled from the many racial injustices they faced, but continued to fight even with people saying black people had no right to learn how to fly a plane. The Navajo Code Talkers helped fight in the war and were awarded for all their help. They were the creators of a code that was not broken during the entire war but later on could never talk about the work they did to anyone.

  6. The Tuskegge were African American pilots. They faced racial injustice. Many people said that blacks shouldn't fly planes but they proved otherwise. The Navajo Code Talkers made a code to help aid for the war but it made enemies want them specifically.

  7. Both Tuskegee Airmen and Navajo Code Talkers faced challenges in the WWII. They all face dangers. Specifically, the Tuskegee Airmen faced racial discriminations. African Americans were not believed with the ability to fly. Therefore they were segregated from others. The Navajo Code talkers received more recognitions. However, they faced a lot of difficulties in forming the code.

Similarities- Both groups of people faced discrimination because of their skin color or race.

Differences- Navajo Code talkers couldn’t talk about their job experiences until 1968 and faced lingering trauma of combat.
