  1. In the 1950s car sales increased a lot. The interstate highway changed the way Americans traveled by making it easier to get from one place to the next. People began taking longer trips by private car and were able to travel across the country more quickly. The opportunities created by the success of the automobile industry were more jobs and cheaper cars which meant that more people could afford them. Some problems created by their successes were more traffic, pollution, and damage to cities. President Eisenhower was inspired by Germany’s highways that were built before WWII. Some other technologies that came out during the 1950s were the television, the transistor radio, a computer modem, 3D technology, and passenger jets.

    -Car sales increased because of the suburbs.

    How did the interstate highway system change the way Americans traveled?
    -The interstate highway would allow people to travel to all the major cities in the U.S.

    What opportunities and problems were created by the successes of the automobile industry in the 1950s?
    -Everyone wanted to buy a car and there was not enough supply and demand.

    -Eisenhower was inspired by the German Autobahns when making the U.S’s interstate highway.

    What were some other technologies that came out during this time?
    -The first electric guitar, power steering, The first 3-d movie,and the first wireless remote.

    It allowed Americans to take faster routes from city to city.
    3.What opportunities and problems were created by the successes of the automobile industry in the 1950s?
    The success of the Automobile Industry presented many job opportunities for many Americans. Although the Industry was successful, it created problems such as traffic for some Americans.

    He was inspired by the German Autobahn.

    2. Highway systems changed the way Americans traveled because they were able to get to the city faster and travel longer distances.
    3. Some opportunities that the automobile created was that people could get jobs farther away which made it easier to find jobs. The problems it caused was traffic, to many people wanted car but there weren't enough cars, and pollution from cars.

    It created a faster and more efficient way of transportation between cities in the U.S.
    -What opportunities and problems were created by the successes of the automobile industry in the 1950s?
    During this time everyone was able to buy a car but there was only a minimal number. People were able to buy cars because of the increased amount of jobs people had.
    -Which country did President Eisenhower get inspired by with their use of the highway system to inspire the interstate highway model?
    The president was inspired by German Autobahn for his interstate highway models.
    -What were some other technologies that came out during this time?
    Some new technologies that came out were the electric guitar, transistor radio, 3D technology and more.

    3) There were many more job oppurtunities although there was also a lot of traffic.
    4) Eisenhower was inspired by the German Autobahn.

    Car Sales soared in the 1950’s because of the suburbs
    2.How did the interstate highway system change the way Americans traveled?
    It allowed most middle class Americans to travel faster and get to places around them close by or far away without having to use public transportation.
    3.What opportunities and problems were created by the successes of the automobile industry in the 1950s?
    Some of the problems created by the automobile industry’s success were accidents, pollution & less use of public transportation. The opportunities given by the automobile industry included more accessible jobs & access to the suburbs.

    President Eisenhower was inspired by Germany’s roads and highway system.

    Some other technologies that came out during the time was the radio, the computer & 3D technology.

    Interstate highway system allowed Americans to travel to different cities easier and opened up routes to rural places.

    Some opportunities brought by the success of automobile industry is businesses opening up on suburban areas and beside the highway. It created more job opportunities. However, it caused traffic and pollution.
